CR 21s

The CR 21s is a high-performance reflex-loaded subwoofer. The cabinet is loaded with a long- excursion 21" transducer for a power capability of 1800 W (AES). The extended cone displacement sets new limits from the mechanical point of view.

CR21s is tuned to a frequency of 39 Hz for nice and punchy low-frequency information. A pair of large bass-reflex ports reduce noise from airflow to a minimum. Resonances are minimized by a highly stiff and stable wooden cabinet, adequately braced.

The cabinet is constructed from Baltic birch ply and coated with highly weather-resistant, non-toxic, eco-friendly paint. The front of the loudspeaker is protected by a robust metal grill. Each side includes four handles and a top hat that can be used as a base for a distance rod or to fix the stacking adapter. The acoustical and mechanical design enables the CR 21s to be used as a powerful subwoofer.

The 21" transducer employs an industry-standard 4" voice coil and is popular both for installations and touring. It adds more bass dynamics to the sound system while improving the mid-range clarity by taking the tension away from the main cabinets with smaller mid-drivers.

For demanding applications, the SC Maestro MS 26 Controller is configured to perform, and its EQ and limiter functions are preloaded on the controller. CF 10, CF 12, CF 15, and CF 12h, RR 15h, RR212h are perfect matches for CR21s.
